Frannie’s Chair

Frannie, my wife, is a very creative person. She will often create things from what many would consider trash – mostly garden ornaments and such.  Back in 1999, a friend of her’s in Santa Fe was getting rid of this old beat up chair. Frannie immediately saw the possibilities and made a logical link between this chair and Van Gogh’s chair in “The Yellow Room”.  So now the chair lives in various places in our house, garden, screen room or front porch.

I have taken to photographing Frannie’s chair in the different decorative configurations she creates. Here’s one of my favorites.
